Heritage monitoring for ground disturbance works.

Trench excavation on a wind-farm construction corridor

We monitor clearing, stripping, trenching and excavation on construction corridors, mine sites and renewables projects. Monitors work beside the plant, stop work when something is found and record every hour so you can show the conditions were met.

Monitoring that fits the work front.

We match the number of monitors to the plant, the work fronts and what the agreement or plan asks for, and we keep pace with the crew.

  • Monitoring of clearing, grubbing, topsoil stripping and bulk earthworks
  • Trench, footing and drill pad monitoring
  • Exclusion zone set-up, fencing checks and site marking
  • Working alongside Traditional Owner monitors where the agreement provides for them

A daily record for every work front.

Your environment and approvals team receives records that stand up to an audit.

  • Areas and chainages monitored, with times and plant
  • Ground conditions and depth reached
  • Any finds, stop-work events and how they were resolved
  • Photographs and GPS locations

How pricing works

Quotes are itemised by day rate, travel, vehicle and equipment, and reporting. Rates are set per monitor per day, with standby and travel listed separately.

Send the site location, the work program, your preferred dates and any approval or agreement conditions. We confirm scope, availability and price before work is booked.

Working around the program

Tell us where and when ground disturbance is planned. Monitors can be scheduled to the start of each work front, and we flag early when the program, the plan or the agreement needs more people on site.

Working with Traditional Owners

Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultural heritage belongs to the people whose Country it is. Where a cultural heritage agreement, management plan or permit names the Aboriginal party, Registered Aboriginal Party or Native Title group for the area, we work alongside their representatives and follow their direction on cultural matters. Their cultural advice, and the decisions that come from it, are theirs.

Frequently asked questions

Can monitors stop work?

Yes. Monitors have the authority set out in your plan or agreement to stop work near a possible find. The area is protected and the agreed process is followed before work resumes.

Do you supply Traditional Owner monitors?

No. Traditional Owner monitors are engaged through the Aboriginal party for the area. We work alongside them and coordinate the field program so both teams are where they need to be.

How much notice do you need?

As much as you can give. Short-notice starts are often possible, and we confirm crew, inductions and travel before agreeing a date.
